Domingos Martins is a municipality in the state of Espírito Santo and is situated in the capixabas mountains. The seat of the municipality is 542 meters high and there are peaks that reach 1800 meters, which gives Domingos Martins its cold and pleasant climate, making it known nationally and promoting tourism in the region. Agriculture is the main source of income in Domingos Martins, however, the main activity in the municipality is tourism, which guarantees sustenance to dozens of families in the area. During winter, where the temperature can reach up to 3 ºC (Jun / 16 record), Domingos Martins becomes the main point of visitation and stay of the ES, mainly for couples, exhausting practically all reservations of inns of the region for the period. However, the cold climate is not the only attraction of the place. Domingos Martins counts beautiful landscapes, worthy of postcard, as it is done with the Blue Stone, main tourist point of the region. Mandatory points of visitation are the Municipal Library of Argentina Lopes Tristão, the House of Culture, the Evangelical Church of Lutheran Confession, the famous inns and more. The districts of the municipality are also important points for visitation! The strawberries produced in the county must also be experienced: they are wonderful!
PEDRA AZUL
In 1991, it was created in the Pedra Azul State Park, which is currently protected by IEMA - ES.
Pedra Azul State Park, with 1240 m2, is the main tourist point of the Capixaba mountains, a fact that is due to all its natural heritage. The pleasant climate, exuberant visual and rich fauna and flora are some of the aspects that please the thousands of visitors that the Park receives every year, especially in the winter. The Blue Stone, postcard of the Holy Spirit, is a formation of granite and gneiss, having 1822 meters of height and incredible coloring. Besides the cold that attracts thousands of tourists, the walks are the main activities of the Park, being divided into levels: medium, easy and difficult. The trails can include climbing, swimming in the natural pools and last up to 3 hours. In addition to the activities of the Park, visitors also pass the Route of the Lizard, about 8 km, with a charming visual in very few kilometers. The two associated tours enchant all tourists!

The closest airport to Domingos Martins is the Eurico Airport of Aguiar Salles, in Vitoria. It is important to know that Domingos Martins and Vitória are approximately 50 km away. Soon, a bus or car should be taken to reach the municipality.

Departing from Vitoria - ES: There are daily buses from Vitoria Bus Terminal to Domingos Martins.
Departing from São Paulo - SP and Rio de Janeiro - RJ: A bus should be taken to the bus station in the capital of the state of Espírito Santo and then take the bus that departs from Vitoria to Domingos Martins.

HOW TO GET THERE BY CAR
The main access road to Domingos Martins is the BR 262 direction Vitória - Belo Horizonte. However, you can also use Highway BR 101 (coming to Vitória) and then BR 262.

With a stunning look and pleasant weather, walking in Domingos Martins is an excellent activity during your stay in the municipality. For the walk are recommended clothes that are in agreement with the cold climate of the region, mainly during the winter.
